Bregenzer TeleWald 2026

The legendary Bregenzer TeleWald returns from January 23 to 25, 2026, bringing together Telemark skiers from all over Europe for three unforgettable days in the Austrian Alps. Hosted by the Schwäbischer Skiverband (SSV) and the Telemark+ community, this festival is one of the highlights of the Telemark calendar — a mix of freeride action, workshops, kids’ courses, and lively mountain evenings.

Telemark Weekend in the Heart of the Alps

The gathering starts Friday evening in Au, with a cozy mountain hut atmosphere, dinner, and the first get-together. On Saturday and Sunday, participants meet at Saloberkopf for freeriding, touring, carving, testing Telemark equipment, and taking part in workshops or instructor training.

Saturday’s program includes the group freeride descent to Schröcken and an après-ski party at the Holzschopf, followed by a shuttle back to the hut. Evening highlights include a traditional dinner on Friday and a full three-course meal on Saturday — with a midnight buffet for those who still have energy to dance.

Workshops, Courses & Training

The Bregenzer TeleWald also offers official SSV-certified Telemark workshops and further training opportunities for all levels:

• Freeride Telemark Training (course no. 26-701 / 26-702)
• Advanced Technique / Personal Performance (26-703 / 26-704)
• Intro & Crossover Courses for newcomers from alpine, snowboard, or Nordic disciplines (26-705 / 26-706)

Each can be booked as an individual module or as a complete package including accommodation, meals, skipass, and shuttle service.

Telemark for Kids

Young skiers are at the heart of the event. Saturday offers Telemark intro lessons for children, with rental gear available. Kids’ packages start at just 185 €, making it easy for families to join the fun.

The all-inclusive hut package in Au (limited availability) covers:

• 2 nights with meals
• 2-day skipass
• shuttle transfers
• workshops / courses
• an event gift

Price: 325 € (or 338 € for SSV complete packages).
Those who already own a 3 Täler Pass or Freizeitticket can deduct the lift cost by email request.
