A Convergence of Telemark Mastery at Hintertuxer Gletscher
Mark your calendars for an extraordinary gathering at the Hintertuxer Gletscher! From November 27th to 30th, 2023, the Freeheeler Campus is set to welcome telemark professionals, instructors, and coaches from across Europe for a deep dive into the technicalities and joys of telemarking. Building on the success of its inaugural event in 2022, this year’s assembly promises even more in-depth learning and exchange.
Technical Deep Dive into Telemark skiing.
The Freeheeler Campus 2023 is dedicated to the introduction and continual development of technical aspects in Telemark skiing. Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in discussions, participate in hands-on learning, and improve their skills. The event is a perfect blend of practical and theoretical learning, with 70% of the time spent on snow, navigating various terrains and snow conditions, and 30% dedicated to workshops and lectures off the snow.
Learning, Comparing, and Advancing Together
This four-day event is not just about individual advancement but also about community and collective growth. Attendees will share techniques, strategies, and insights into driving with telemark equipment, teaching telemark techniques, and continually honing their skills. It’s an opportunity to learn from the best, share experiences, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in telemark skiing.
From the Freeheeler Campus to Celebration
The learning and excitement don’t stop there! Following the Freeheeler Campus, participants can look forward to the Freeheeler Opening, running from December 1st to 3rd, 2023, also at Hintertux. This event is a celebration of the telemark community, bringing together hundreds of international enthusiasts to enjoy the sport they love.
