Telemark Warm-Up Day 2025-26
Ski Telemark Warm-Up Day 2025-26 at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone
The winter telemark season in Ontario begins with the traditional Ski Telemark Warm-Up Day at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone Resort. The event takes place on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, and welcomes new skiers, experienced freeheel riders, and everyone who wants to improve technique with professional instruction.
Start the Season With Coaching and New NTN Equipment
Participants enjoy four hours of coaching from certified telemark instructors. The program covers stance, balance, smooth transitions, and the fundamentals of efficient telemark turns.
In addition, rental NTN equipment is available on-site. This includes the latest boots and bindings, giving newcomers a perfect chance to try modern telemark gear before buying their own setup.
The Warm-Up Day is based in the Oak Room, 2nd floor, where the group meets for lunch, instruction briefings, and gear orientation.
Perfect for Beginners and Returning Telemarkers
The event is ideal for skiers who want to:
- Try telemark skiing for the first time
- Refresh technique before the season
- Test modern NTN setups
- Meet the Ontario telemark community
- Enjoy a structured, friendly learning environment
Because the lessons are divided by skill level, everyone receives coaching that matches personal goals.
