The Telemark World Cup Round 5 recently concluded in Trillevallen, Sweden, delivering thrilling races that captivated fans worldwide. The event included Parallel Sprint, Sprint, and Classic disciplines, showcasing the skill and versatility of top telemark athletes.


First Day of Competition: Sunny Skies and Strong Performances

The first competition day featured sunny skies and excellent course conditions, giving athletes ideal conditions to perform. The course included a steep slope with a challenging jump, followed by a fast flatter section.

Men’s Highlights

  • Olle Collberg overcame a broken pole in his first run and climbed from 10th to 5th place.
  • Alvin Noaksson finished 12th, Vile 14th, Charlie 19th, and Oscar 22nd.

Second Day of Racing: Olle Nears the Podium

The second day also featured sunshine and excellent course conditions. Athletes faced another intense sprint competition, and the crowd enjoyed close battles for the top spots.

  • Olle Collberg delivered another season-best performance, finishing 4th, narrowly missing the podium.

“After my fifth place yesterday, I aimed for the podium. I jumped a bit short in the first run, costing me two penalty seconds. Still, I skied fast and I’m very happy with another season-best result,” said Olle.

  • Vile improved to 12th, Alvin 13th, Oscar 21st, and Charlie skied out.
  • Karin Abrahamsson finished 13th after a strong first run but struggled on the flatter section in the second.
