A Weekend of Skiing and Celebration at Bromley Mountain
Bromley Mountain is set to host the 38th annual Kåre Andersen Telemark Festival on February 24th and 25th, 2024, a tribute to the enduring spirit of Telemark skiing. This festival is a call to all Telemark enthusiasts, from beginners to the most advanced, to join a weekend filled with clinics, races, and camaraderie.
Event Schedule and Activities
- Saturday, February 24, 2024
- 8:00-9:00 AM: Registration for morning clinics at the Top Floor of Base Lodge.
- 10:00-11:30 AM: Morning Clinics for all skill levels including Side Country sessions.
- 1:00-2:30 PM: Afternoon Clinics to further develop Telemark skills.
- 3:30-4:00 PM: Outdoor après-ski gathering for some free skiing.
- 4:00-6:00 PM: The celebration continues indoors at the Wild Boar with live music and a Telemark dance party.

- 8:00-9:00 AM: Race & Clinic Registration upstairs on the 2nd floor.
- 9:50-10:00 AM: Pre-race Meeting at the top of East Meadow Trail (Alpine Chair).
- 10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Telemark Racing with divisions for both citizens and open competitors.
- 1:00-3:00 PM: Afternoon Clinics for varying skill levels.
- 3:00-4:30 PM: Announcement of race awards and gear raffle at the Wild Boar.
Expert Instruction and Varied Clinics
Clinics will be delivered by top area coaches, offering sessions for all abilities. Whether you’re just learning the ropes of Telemark skiing or looking to push your limits, the festival has a clinic to match your skill level. Side Country sessions will also be available for those looking to venture off the beaten path.
Racing and Celebrations
Cap off the festival with a race on Sunday morning, with different divisions to ensure everyone has a chance to compete. After the racing, join fellow Telemarkers at the Wild Boar for the announcement of race awards and a gear raffle, celebrating the winners and the spirit of the festival.
