Attention All Pinheads: Get Ready for the 6th Annual LPPR at Caberfae Peaks!

Winter is on the horizon, and it’s almost time for the 6th Annual Low Pressure Powder Revival (LPPR) at Caberfae Peaks! Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 25, 2025, and prepare for a day filled with telemark skiing, pinhead community fun, and après celebrations. For those who want to start early, a special ski social and film screening will be held the night before, on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Event Details:

• Location: Caberfae Peaks, at the reserved northeast corner of Skyview Lodge.
• Sign-In: Opens at 8 a.m. in Skyview Lodge, NE corner.
• Friday Night Social & Film Screening: Gather with other telemark enthusiasts to watch some ski films and connect over a shared passion.

Saturday Highlights:

Start the Day with a Warm Welcome

Be sure to stop by Skyview Lodge to sign up for events and raffles as soon as you arrive. The “Tele How-To” session is back, with support from Motor City Tele, who will provide a demo fleet and fittings to help you hit the slopes in style and comfort.

Events on Olympia Run

All events will take place on the Olympia run (the far-left run on South Peak), where you’ll find a tent set up for last-minute event sign-ups if you didn’t register at the lodge. Expect an exhilarating day of turns, challenges, and community cheer as we celebrate the heart and soul of telemark skiing.

Potluck Lunch in Skyview Lodge

Bring a dish to share and enjoy a casual potluck-style lunch with the LPPR community in Skyview Lodge. It’s the perfect way to fuel up and connect with fellow skiers over a delicious meal.

Après-Ski and Live Music

As the day winds down, join us back at Skyview Lodge for a well-deserved après session featuring live music from Silver Creek Revival. Refreshments will be provided by Caberfae Peaks’ bar, and we kindly ask that you respect the lodge’s policy by keeping all outside alcohol at home.
