FONNA Telemark Camp 2026
Summer Freeheel Adventure in Norway
The FONNA Telemark Camp returns in June 2026, bringing skiers from across Europe to one of the most iconic summer-skiing locations in Norway. After the strong energy of last year’s camp, the 2026 edition promises long glacier days, evening tours, and a relaxed Telemark community atmosphere.
A Camp Built on the Spirit of 2025
During the 2025 FONNA Telemark Camp, Telemark skiers from six nations gathered on the glacier for sunset tours, freeheel laps, and shared evenings at the campsite. Even with limited resources and challenging conditions, the crew created a memorable week thanks to the dedication of Per Ståle Grude, Folgefonna Hytta, and the Galdersming team.

The story of 2025 was simple:
Good snow, strong community, glacier sunsets, and the determination to enjoy each turn on their own terms.
What Awaits in 2026
The 2026 camp keeps the same foundation:
- Daily Telemark skiing sessions on the FONNA glacier
- Sunset tours above the fjords
- Technique training for all levels (depending on conditions)
- Community activities at the camp in the afternoons
- Shared dinners, grill evenings and mountain stories
- Friendly atmosphere with skiers from different countries
Weather on the glacier can shift quickly, but this variety is part of the FONNA experience. From firm morning snow to soft afternoon slush, each day brings new sensations and new lines to explore.
A Unique Summer-Skiing Experience
The location makes the camp special. FONNA sits above dramatic fjords, offering views that feel unreal during sunset sessions. Skiers finish a day on the glacier and walk straight into long Nordic evenings at the campsite. Many describe it as the perfect balance between training, touring and holiday.
The 2026 edition will again focus on freedom, simplicity, and the joy of Telemark skiing on summer snow.
