Get ready to slide into the heart of Manchester for a spectacular display of telemark skiing! Manchester Cross Country Ski Club proudly presents the 13th UK Telemark Ski Festival, set to take place at Chill Factore on Sunday, 12th May 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or eager to dip your toes into the pristine snow of this elegant skiing form, this event promises an unforgettable day of snowy adventures.

The festival, a beacon for both novices and experts, offers a full day loaded with up to 5 hours of slope time and extensive coaching sessions. Beginners will benefit from specific groups tailored to their skills, while intermediate and advanced skiers can push their limits further. The coaching lineup features top-notch instructors from the Manchester Cross-Country Ski Club, known for their profound expertise in the art of telemark skiing.

Participants can look forward to two 2-hour coaching sessions interspersed with warm-up and cool-down periods, ensuring a thorough and invigorating ski experience. Moreover, an additional race group will be formed depending on the number of participants, adding a competitive edge to the event.

A notable highlight is the festival’s equipment provisions. First-class Telemark gear, including NTN and 75mm skis and boots, will be available for hire. Due to limited availability, attendees are encouraged to pre-book their equipment to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the festival.
