Excitement is building for the Telemark Ride On event set to take place in the picturesque Lenzerheide on January 13th and 14th, 2024. This festival is a celebration of all things Telemark, offering a blend of instruction, community, and fun for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. As Telemark skiing enjoys a resurgence across Europe, the Ride On event is the perfect opportunity for freeheelers to come together, refine their skills, and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals.

Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the elegant, flowing movements of Telemark skiing or an experienced rider looking to enhance your technique, the Ride On in Lenzerheide has something for everyone. The event’s mantra is “Friendship – Entertainment & Community,” ensuring a relaxed atmosphere where participants can learn from each other and share their passion for the sport.
Equipment Testing and Workshops at Your Disposal
For the first time this year, Ride On participants will have access to rental and test equipment at the Primus Rentalshop starting at 9:00 AM. In addition, a series of workshops will be held to help skiers refine their style or take their first steps into the world of Telemark skiing. These sessions are scheduled for both days of the event, starting at 10:00 AM at Primus Sport (Nova Ski School) at Fadail, Lenzerheide.
Diverse Program and Workshops to Enhance Your Skills
Participants can book their Ride On workshop with Nova Ski School at Fadail. Prices are set at 85.- CHF for all levels, including test equipment, with your own gear. For those needing to rent gear, a full day package with workshop costs 125.- CHF, or 50.- CHF for rental without a workshop. Test equipment is also available for 25.- CHF per day, including a wide selection of skis and various NTN bindings.
Weekend Schedule Packed with Activities
The event promises two days packed with activities:
- Saturday, January 13th, 2024: The day begins with equipment testing, followed by workshops, a communal lunch, free skiing in the area, and an evening of Apres Ski activities based on morning discussions.
- Sunday, January 14th, 2024: Similar to Saturday, with equipment testing, workshops, lunch, and free skiing, concluding with the return of test material and rental equipment.
