Telemark Only Festival 2024
Attention Telemark enthusiasts! We regret to announce that the Telemark Only Festival will not be held in 2024 due to ongoing construction constraints at Schilthorn. However, fear not! We’ve compiled a list of vibrant Telemark Festivals happening this spring for you to explore.
PLIEMAS 2024 (La Skieda)
Location: Livigno, Italy
Dates: April 4-7, 2024
Meidjo Telemark Festival
Location: La Grace, France
Dates: April 12-14, 2024
Black Shoes Telemark Festival
Location: Tignes, France
Dates: April 26-28, 2024
Fonna Telemark Camp
Location: Fonna ski resort, Jondal, Norway
Dates: June 29 – July 3, 2024
While we’re saddened by the hiatus, we encourage you to embrace these alternative opportunities to connect with fellow Telemark enthusiasts, hone your skills, and celebrate the spirit of Telemark skiing.
Stay tuned for updates on the return of the Telemark Only Festival in the future. In the meantime, let’s keep the Tele-Ho spirit alive!
Dear Telemark friends, this messaage from telemark fest organizers.
We wish you all the best for the new year 2024 and many perfect telemark days in the mountains.
After 7 Festivals, the event will no longer take place on the Schilthorn at the beginning of May 2024. From Monday to Friday, the construction of the new Schilthorn cable car has priority (information at schilthornbahn20xx.ch).
On the weekends in May, the ski area on the Schilthorn will be open to all snow sports fans. We will make special telemark offer for the weekend of 4/5 May 2024 and hope to see many telemark skiers on the Schilthorn.
We are currently looking into an alternative location for the continuation of the “real” Festival on the weekend after Easter, i.e. from Thursday 4 April to Sunday 7 April 2024.
We will keep you informed and hope that you will block both dates.
