The event, which took place on January 7, 2024, was a showcase of telemark skiing, including the much-anticipated kids’ race and TeleKidz.
Women’s FIS Sprint Results:
In a thrilling set of races, the women’s category was fiercely contested. British skier Jasmin Taylor claimed the top spot, showcasing her skill and determination. She was closely followed by a strong French contingent, with Laly Chaucheprat taking second place, and Argeline Tan Bouquet rounding out the top three. Camille Bourbon and Maely Vernet also put in strong performances, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
Junior Women’s Showdown:
The Junior Women’s race was equally exciting, with Switzerland’s Léa Lathion taking the first place. The French skiers were not far behind, with Augustine Carliez and Lenaig Mansart taking the second and third spots. Elizabeth Pouezevara from the USA and Solenn Mansart from France completed the top five, demonstrating the growing talent in the junior ranks.
Men’s FIS Sprint Champions:
In the men’s category, Switzerland’s Nicolas Michel emerged victorious, followed closely by compatriot Romain Beney. The French skiers showed strong performances with Elie Nabot, Charly Petex, and Noé Claye completing the top five. The competition was intense, with each turn and jump fiercely contested.
Junior Men’s Category:
The future of telemark skiing shone bright in the Junior Men’s category. Timo Walser of Switzerland claimed the top spot, followed by Zian Peccoux from France and Frederic Martin from Switzerland. The competition remained tight with Emile Brobecker and Marco Simon Eynard from France finishing fourth and fifth.
